TATRY MOUNTAIN RESORTS, a.s. owns and operates a portfolio of the best known ski resorts in Slovakia. Business activities are joined in three key segments – tourism oriented one offering services mostly in ski season, hotels and development projects.
TMR is offering 51 km of ski slopes with capacity more than 36,000 skiers per hour. Based on the investment plan implementation, the area will be increased from previous 50 hectare to the double. Thanks to the expanded area the transportation capacity increases to 52 200 skiers per hour. A complex at this level is becoming comparable with some well-known middle-sized European resorts.
TMR is also an owner and operator of the following well-known hotel accomodation portfolio: Grandhotel Praha, Grandhotel Stary Smokovec, Tri Studnicky, Grand Jasna, Hotel FIS, Hotel Srdiecko and Holiday Village Tatralandia with capacity about 1 700 beds. The accomodations are able to satisfy a wide range of customer needs, from individuals, families and older people up to business clients. Hotel facilities also offer convenient premises for conferences and business meetings, which effectively fill off-season periods.
Real Estate Projects
The last, but not negligible activities of the TMR are business activities in the Real Estate segment, where the main goal is to boost the mountain areas through the expected growth in the following year. The management's goal is to utilize opportunities, which are available. These options are based on the unique position in the region of Vysoke and Nizke Tatry (High and Low Tatras). TMR's strategy is mostly oriented on development, building and selling of majority of apartments and non-residential premises. Currently, TMR has ready five lucrative projects in the mountain resorts.
