About TMR
TATRY MOUNTAIN RESORTS, a.s. is a mountain resorts operator in the CEE region. It is a major investor in the Tatras region with the ambition to become the biggest leisure operator in CEE by renewing the quality and service range.
Business activities are focused in three key segments – Mountains & Leisure; Hotels; and Real Estate projects. Mountains & Leisure includes mountain resorts in the High and Low Tatras offering 50.3 km of ski trails; aqua park Tatralandia; and complex services, such as dining, ski schools, sports shops, ski rental, and service. The acquisition of the biggest aqua park in Central Europe, Tatralandia, in 2011 was an important step in fulfilling the strategy of building an all-year tourist destination. The Company also owns and leases hotels in the proximity to its resorts with a capacity of around 1700 beds. The real estate segment is mostly oriented on development, building and selling of apartments and non-residential premises. Currently, TMR is developing four promising projects in the mountain resorts.
The Company’s strategy is focused on large capital investments into redevelopment and enhancement of the resorts and services so that the Tatras’ destinations could be highlighted at the European level and multiply its visit rate.
