Mutual cross‐border cooperation through the philanthropic activities aimed on getting to know the
attractive tourist destination Low and High Tatras, contributed to the strengthen the relations
between Poland and Slovakia. The young polish generation acquainted with the most important
tourist ski resorts here in Slovakia. The program of the polish guests started in Jasna Nízke Tatry with
a trip by the new gondola Funitel up to the top of Chopok (2 024 m a.s.l.). „The kids were excited
because they have not seen anything like this; they were pleased from the height, from the fact
that to see the beautiful views took only few minutes, “Marion Korman said.

The water tubes in aquapark Tatralandia made these visitors the greatest joy. Not only
entertainment, but also the adventure enjoyed the young explorers in the tropical world with seaside
climate. They eyes were shining bright when they were exploring the treasure in the snorkeling pool
and have been part of an original underwater world with live fishes for a little while in Tropical
Paradise Tatralandia. „Amazing animation programs with great choreography made dancing the
kids also in the evening and it was interesting to watch their enthusiasm, “the accompanying camp
coordinator said.

Liptov area attracted the kids not only by the “summer all the time” that dominates in the largest
water world under Tatras, but also by the sheep exposition in Liptovsky Hradok or by the visit of
Museum of Janko Kráľ in Liptovsky Mikuláš. High Tatras were interesting for the kids thanks to a trip
by a cable car to Skalnaté pleso and a view of the surrounding scenery. „We have seen the snowed
up Tatras wildness, the children reached another experience, they were impressed by the amount
of snow, that it extends to the knees. “ M. Korman said.

And what tasted the little guest form the local food the most? „It was a lot what tasted more in the
mountain area and on the fresh air. Certainly, the garlic soup prepared in Bandolier cottage in
Holiday Village Tatralandia won, “Marion Korman added.
