The non-traditional martial arts gala evening will include an attractive light show, beautiful ring girls, a rich additional programme and a special After Diamonds Party with the Jon Bon Jovi revival. New fighting styles will be introduced this year and a match of two gentle women will be the icing on the “evening cake”. “K1 is the toughest kickboxing discipline which enables us to show our female fighting spirit and determination. I will be fighting in front of Slovak spectators after two years again. Let us see which advice of my coach will work on my opponent,” commented Lenka Pilarčíková, who will take part in a unique professional K1 match in the Liptov Arena, on her tactics. She will not be wearing any protection gear or helmet in the tough fight. “The spectators would prefer watching a K.O. in this discipline but considering my weight of 52 kilograms, it will be more about hitting precisely where you want to and getting points. I do not want to disappoint the people and will do my best in my home country,” she added and smiled.
Matches between Vladimír Sklouz and Czezary Zugaj from Poland, who will be fighting to be become the International Slovak Champion of the WKF Federation in Thai boxing will be the highlight of the evening. Tomi Kid Kovács, a well known boxing champion, will also come to see which of the athletes will be holding the belt for the absolute winner over his head. Slovak fighters such as Miroslav Pittner, Martin Oršuliak, Denis Kováč, Michal Mokrý, Martin Šimko, Michal Plesník, Patrik Glézl, Samuel Hadzima, Lukáš Madlinec, Milan Páleš, Tomáš Šenkýr, Michal Baláž, Martin Pacas and Tomáš Možný will come to present their skills and martial arts mastery as well. Marián Kulizák, a 21-time Slovak Kickboxing Champion, 3-time World Champion and 7-time European Kickboxing Cup Winner will attend his farewell match in the Liptov Arena. The gala evening will be followed by a diamonds after party in Holiday Village Tatralandia. For more information about the programme and tickets, please click HERE.
