Ing. Bohuš Hlavatý is leaving the office of the Chairman of the Board and the TMR CEO as of 29th April 2020. It is a standard generation change that the management had been considering for longer but the COVID-19 crisis and resulting economic consequences have made the decision process faster. Mr. Hlavatý will still be active in the Company. On 29th April 2020, he was elected by the annual general meeting a member of the TMR Supervisory board, which elected him the Chairman of the Supervisory board afterwards.

The office of the TMR CEO will remain unfilled until the end of the financial year of 2020 due to austerity measures among other things and the Company management will be taken over by the Board of Directors, i.e. by Igor Rattaj, who was elected the Chairman of the Board by the Supervisory Board on 30th April 2020, together with his colleagues Čeněk Jílek, current TMR COO, and Jozef Hodek, current member of the Board and TMR CFO. The both latter will get in charge of individual organisational structures of the Company. Andrej Devečka and Branislav Gábriš left their Board member offices on 28th April 2020 and Mr. Devečka has also become a member of the TMR Supervisory board.

Under the management of Bohuš Hlavatý, who had been in charge of TMR since 2009, the Company became the leader in the field of running mountain resorts, amusement parks, hotels and other tourism services in Central and Eastern Europe. The Company assets grew by more than EUR 250 million, TMR resorts underwent complex revitalisation and the Company bought or started to operate new mountain resorts, a water park, an amusement park, hotels, golf resorts and other tourism services in Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria. Mr. Hlavatý also successfully listed TMR shares on three stock exchanges in the region.

First of all, I would like to thank all my closest co-workers as well as all TMR employees. Together we have built a company that is not only successful but also has made millions of clients happy. I appreciate the trust of our shareholders and hope to make use of my long-time experience further and create some value as an active Chairman of the Supervisory board,” said Bohuš Hlavatý.

“Personally as well as on behalf of the Supervisory board and Company shareholders, I would like to thank Bohuš Hlavatý for his contribution to TMR. It has been mainly thanks to him that the Company has become the leader in its segment in our region in the course of 11 years. However, the mission of Bohuš Hlavatý in TMR does not end. Our shareholders wished to see him as the Chairman of the Supervisory board, where he and his extensive experience could help us mainly in the field of strategy making and planning. The Company management will be the responsibility of the Board of Directors for now. I consider this situation to be temporary. It will be like a crisis committee that should lead the Company through difficult times,” explained Igor Rattaj regarding all changes as for the management and administration of the Company.

Igor Rattaj is leaving the office of the Chairman of the TMR Supervisory board as of 29.4.2020, where he has been active since 2009. He has a lot of experience in the field of finance.
