Visitors of Skalnaté Pleso will be learning to laugh for no reason on 1st April. The so called laughter yoga boosts psychical and physical health and helps find everybody´s inner child again. Skydiving teams will be flying in the air like birds in the only skydiving tunnel at Aquapark Tatralandia in eight rounds of the Slovak Indoor Skydiving Championships. While simulating free fall, 4-member teams will hold their hands and legs to create special formations. Their skydiving skills will be judged by a professional jury. The first April day will end with a hot dance strip show in the Liptov Arena at Tatralandia.

Another round of the European Snowboarding Cup will take place in the DC snow park in the locality of Otupné on Saturday and Sunday (2nd – 3rd April). 50 riders from all Europe are expected to fight for the Slovak snowboarding freestyle champion´s. “The snow park corresponds to the parameters of a slope style track which is suitable for a race of this Olympic discipline. The size and difficulty level of obstacles will be adjusted to fit the European Cup standards and enable performing more difficult tricks,“ said Matej Zemanovič from the DC snow park Jasná. Older generations will be remembering the Czechoslovak alpine skiing champion and national team member Jozef Krasuľa at the 5th international slalom and giant slalom skiing race of veterans in Štrbské Pleso during the upcoming weekend.
