Small visitors to the Low Tatras can enjoy both sides of Mt. Chopok for special return ticket prices. The most visited region has prepared an attractive project for researchers called “7 treasures of the Liptov region”. Attractive places in the locality are accessible along newly marked trails or by bike. When looking for 7 treasures of the Liptov region in mid June, one will have several indicia on water, in caves, along tourist trails or in the mountains to help with the search. While walking around the mountains, school pupils will also meet the symbol of Demänovská Dolina (valley) – Demian the Dragon.
The beauty of the High Tatras, hiking trips from Hrebienok to Bilík´s or Reiner´s chalet and waterfalls of Studený potok (brook) are available for small tourists for special funicular prices. A new 15-person cable car operating to Skalnaté Pleso will take the school pupils to beautiful views at the altitude of 1,751 m. The area around the tarn of Skalnaté pleso is part of an educational trail and an eco-mini park of the so called Tatra Wilderness with wooden sculptures and a Marmot cottage. Near the tarn, there is also a Meteorological observatory of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Geophysical Institute, or the highest located Encián gallery.
The summer is knocking on the door and inviting everybody to enjoy fun and water. Aquapark Tatralandia in the Liptov region has joined special offers of mountain resorts and prepared special all-day tickets to Aquapark Tatralandia and tickets to a 5D cinema for school pupils. The summer at Tatralandia will be opened with the third Water Battle of nations on 14th -15th June. Besides 28 water slides, the park will offer 14 pools as well as outdoor pools, inflatable castles and trampolines. The Tropical Paradise with 4 salty sea water pools and a snorkelling pool for children will guarantee a real tropical atmosphere. And Superfly – a free fall simulator will provide enough adrenaline moments for everyone.
