“It´s not only me the award goes to. It´s for all employees of our hotel. I consider it a challenge to keep improving and trying to be different from our rivals. We have created a special ZEN concept – a product which is specific and unrivalled in its field. So we will try hard to keep making our services better, hand in hand with current trends,“ commented Iveta Chovanová on her success.

“The Hotelier of the Year award is a long-term project of our Association and the results are based on objective criteria. Our members use collected economic data as a tool for comparing the productivity of individual hotels. This helps them uncover deficiencies and serves as a motivating factor as well,“ said Patrik Bočkay, President of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Slovak Republic.

An expert committee was evaluating 61 member hotels based on their economic results, the occupancy rate and the revenue per available room. The experts were checking the quality of services while staying at individual hotels anonymously. This is the fourth year that Iveta Chovanová has been managing the Tri Studničky hotel, she used to work here in various positions since 2003 and was given the above mentioned award in 2010 as well.

The biggest travelling community of TripAdvisor with more than 32 million members and 100 million reviews evaluated the Tri Studničky**** hotel under Mt. Chopok as the most romantic hotel of Slovakia in 2014. The TripAdvisor website recommends and evaluates hotels, restaurants, attractions and facilities in the field of tourism all around the world.

“Positive evaluation is always great promotion. But a satisfied and smiling customer who keeps coming back to our hotel and appreciates our services, this is the biggest reward we can get. This helps us improve. Romantic packages are very popular. Our clients enjoy the unique atmosphere in the bosom of the Low Tatras but also our private wellness centre, even outside the opening times. Our pro-client approach had a positive influence on the number of reservations. Last year, the overall interest in romantic packages grew fourfold. This is not only about the approach but about the style in general and the way of services provided. May it be a special menu, the room decoration, helpful staff or meeting the requirements and expectations of our customers,“ concluded Iveta Chovanová.

The Tri Studničky**** Boutique hotel located in the heart of Demänovská Dolina is a real jewel that combines the style of a mountain chalet, comfort of the best urban hotels and top-quality kitchen. Positive energy and environment of a really high value were even awarded with a certificate for meeting the principles and philosophy of Feng Shui. Being the first Feng Shui Zen hotel in Slovakia, the Tri Studničky hotel offers ideal spaces for relaxation in original environment with elements such as stone, wood and copper. The hotel with an attractive and original interior and exterior architecture is embraced by a forest and lies on the bank of a mountain brook called Demänovka, which was the impulse to create the first mountain beach in the Tatras.
